A patient presented to The POSH - Pondy Ortho Speciality Hospital, Pondicherry with severe neck pain radiating to the left upper limb, accompanied by progressive numbness and weakness in the arm and fingers. Symptoms had been escalating over several months, significantly impairing daily activities, work capacity, and quality of life.

MRI evaluation confirmed C5-C6 cervical disc herniation with significant cord and nerve root compression. The clinical picture was consistent with cervical radiculopathy and early myelopathy, necessitating prompt surgical decompression through Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF). Conservative management had failed to provide relief, making surgical intervention the definitive treatment of choice.
